Since 1947, the Saginaw Art Museum has acquired art, artifacts and reference materials for its collections. The Museum preserves, interprets and makes available these resources for art enthusiasts, academic scholars and museum professionals around the globe. The collections reflect both historic and contemporary cultural traditions as well as diverse artistic expressions that extend across the Great Lakes Bay Region and the world.
The Permanent Collection
The Museum houses a collection comprising of paintings, watercolors, works on paper, sculpture, photography, ceramics, silver and glass.
